Many new restaurants have opened in Shuinan Cave recently. Last week, I went to one of them, “Shanju Huaishi”, which greatly enriched my taste experience. I would like to share it with you.

Shanju Huai cuisine is mainly Chinese Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisines, which is undoubtedly a very special existence in Shuinandong, which prefers European and American dishes such as pasta or pizza, or even French cuisine, and this specialness also reflects In terms of the food, the dining environment and the chef who runs the entire restaurant.


Although it is said to be Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine, Shanju Huaishi’s meals incorporate the numbing aroma and sourness of Chinese Sichuan cuisine. Compared with the Jiangnan style of Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine, you can taste more of the color, aroma and flavor of Sichuan cuisine.


Taking the appetizer “Cold and Hot and Sour Fern Root Noodles” as an example, just one bite is enough to make guests’ cheeks sweat. Spicy gourmets will definitely praise it, while those with average tastes may ask for mercy. But no matter what it is, this dish should make people mark their dining experience. It turns out that having such a dish is an eye-opener for appetizers.
The next two appetizers are “Snow Vegetable Matsusaka Meat and Tofu Soup” and “Limong Hokkaido Scallops”. These two dishes are presumably to neutralize the taste bud stimulation of “Sour Bracken Powder” and soothe the taste and mood. The curves all calm down a bit, waiting for the protagonist of the entire package to appear.

Lirong Hokkaido scallops is a dish that is quite soft in both visual and taste. Although it is an appetizer, you can see the chef’s skill in this dish. It is a good prelude to the theme. .

Next is the main dish that surprised me the most in the entire set meal, “Sauerkraut Dragon and Tiger Spot”. Pickled fish has suddenly become popular for some unknown reason recently, and a pickled fish restaurant has even opened near Keelung Ocean University, which shows that this dish is currently very popular. The author has not eaten pickled fish from other restaurants and cannot compare it, but my first experience was at Shanju Huaishi. I believe it is a very high starting point. Maybe in the future I will have the feeling that Wushan is not the same as Yun. Yes, I sincerely give it a very high evaluation. , it’s hard to describe, fresh and sweet? Tender? Speaking of the Xianzao character book, fish and sheep are used to express the excellent taste of food, so I will use five fish to describe the excellent flavor of this “Sauerkraut Dragon and Tiger Spot”.

After the main course, we chose “Chen Mapo Tofu” as a side dish. Unfortunately, I almost didn’t eat the “Chen Mapo Tofu” because it was too spicy, and I wailed to the chef. Can’t the spiciness of the appetizer “Cold and Hot and Sour Fern Root Noodles” be reduced? The chef told him sincerely: “Actually, it’s not impossible, but as the spiciness decreases, the aroma will also weaken, so…” After hearing this, the author already understood that in this mountain city, it is not the paintings or sculptures that are the artists. Chef Huaishan is also an artist with unique skills. If you can’t understand his work, don’t embarrass him.

The last dish is “Huagang Alpine Cabbage”. Although there is no spicy word in the name of the dish, it is indeed spicy. To put it exaggeratedly, this is the most delicious cabbage I have ever tasted. Fried cabbage is a common dish at home. Or it may be a dish that other restaurants also make, but in the author’s opinion, it really can’t be fried so deliciously and sweetly, so it is recommended.
