Central Cross-Island Highway Yilan Branch Line Wuling Lishan Section｜The Snow Mountain Wuling Road, Past and Present (2)
The magnificent mountain scenery of the Wuling Lishan section of the Central Cross-Island Highway – Yilan Branch Line! From Wuling to Lishan, take the Central Cross-Island Route 7A and then connect to Route 8, which runs slowly along the upper reaches of the Zhuoshui River. Passing Huanshan and Songmao Tribes, you can see orchards everywhere and the entrance to the Hundred Peaks hiking trail.
The area from Wuling Farm to the upper reaches of the Snow Mountain Range has been the home of the Atayal people for thousands of years. The Lanyang River has Nanshan and Four Seasons, the Dajia River has Jiayang and Zhijiayang, and the river basins on both sides of the Snow Mountain to Dajian Mountain are the hunting areas of the Atayal people, and are also the climbing entrances to the Snow Mountain and the Four Beauties of Wuling.
